What do you do with 121 bulbs of garlic?

So, we had some garlic growing. Bucket loads - literally.

Frankie makes an awesome lemon garlic chicken that even the kids will eat… but what do you do with 121 bulbs of garlic?

Make garlic powder, of course! It will preserve the life of the garlic for around three years to come, who knew?

I harvested the bulbs and left them to dry in the shed for a month or so. Once dried, I peeled back their papery skins and blitzed them in the NutriBullet, before putting them in the dehydrator for 12 - 14 hours. A final go in the NutriBullet and voila! Garlic powder.

This stuff really packs a punch… and our house smells very… garlic-y.

I’m a farmer now.
